CRD Robotics &Innovation Championship2026.

A robotics and drone competition for young people, held on 3⁠–⁠4 October 2026 at the Interdisciplinary School, Koh Samui, Suratthani Rajabhat University. Each competition runs at its own time — see the detail page of the competition you are interested in.

It depends on the competition. RoboBuilder and Robotics Project are divided into three age groups: 6⁠–⁠8, 9⁠–⁠12, and 13⁠–⁠15 years. The Drone Delivery Mission has two groups: 6⁠–⁠12 and 13⁠–⁠15 years. ZMROBO SUPER AI runs as two competitions split by age, 6⁠–⁠8 and 9⁠–⁠18. The Creative Sumo Robot is an Open division for entrants aged 6 and over, with no upper age limit and no school-level restriction. Every competition sets age by the Thai Buddhist-era birth years listed in the rules document.

The entry fee is 1,000 baht for every competition. Registration is open from 19 August to 20 September 2026.

Transfer it when you apply. The online form requires a transfer slip to be attached, so pay before you submit. Transfer to Kasikorn Bank account 235-3-13417-8, in the name of บริษัทพัฒนาโค้ดดิ้ง ​ห⁠ุ⁠่⁠น⁠ย⁠น⁠ต⁠์และ​โ⁠ด⁠ร⁠น. Yes, as long as the schedules do not overlap. RoboBuilder and Robotics Project run at the same time — 3 October, 08.30⁠–⁠10.00 — so you may choose only one of the two. The Drone Mission (3 October, 10.00⁠–⁠12.00), both ZMROBO SUPER AI competitions (4 October, 08.30⁠–⁠12.00) and the Creative Sumo Robot (4 October, 13.00⁠–⁠14.00) do not clash with anything else.

It varies by competition. RoboBuilder states that entrants use their own computer, the Creative Sumo Robot requires ArTec BlockRobo parts only, and Robotics Project accepts any ZmRobo robot. Full equipment requirements, including permitted size and weight, are set out in each competition's rules document.

Every competition awards first, second and third places. First place receives a trophy and a gold medal, second a silver medal with a gift, third a bronze medal, and everyone else a Best Technique certificate. The 1,000 baht prize money goes only to the single highest scorer in each age group (the Drone Mission uses the best time instead of a score), and each age group has more than one first-place winner.
